Welcome to Families Together Cooperative Nursery School, located in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood. Our Co-Op was founded by parents with a deep desire to be active in their children’s first school experience.

The Co-Op's programs emphasize social, intellectual, language, creative and physical development while meeting a young child’s emotional needs in a secure, inclusive environment.

Our play-based curriculum is built around the children's emerging interests and natural sense of wonder, helping to instill self-esteem and enthusiasm for learning. Children at Families Together expand their world by exploring the open classroom and interacting effectively with their peers, teachers and parents - negotiating, cooperating, learning to compromise, sharing, and exchanging ideas.
